What is Borderline Personality Disorder?

Borderline Personality Disorder is one of the most misunderstood mental illnesses. Many people view others with BPD as attention-seeking, overreactive, clingy, or moody; when in fact, BPD is much much more. Those struggling with Borderline Personality Disorder fight a constant battle in their minds and have to push against what their minds are telling them to do. They aren't able to trust themselves and they have to rely on others for support, even when it's extremely difficult. Living with BPD is no joke, and it's time we start having more compassion for those who struggle. If you or someone you know has BPD, know that you aren't alone and that there are always people here to help you.

Be kind to people, you don't know what they're going through.
